Now this is something thats time consuming but incredibly powerful. That is writing channel comments every single day. Why channel comments? Lets first of all look at what they are. Lets go back to the website. A channel comment is basically when you visit someone elses channel.
Lets say I like MissMag822. Hes the guy running all the competitions, and I really like his stuff. I can go to his channel and actually write a comment on his channel. I can write a comment and click on Post Comment. Afterwards it will get submitted right on this channel page.
Now why would I want to do that? First of all, if you do this regularly to the people in your niche, theyll start to get to know you, especially these big content creators. Look at this guy. Hes got 28,000 subscribers. You want to get noticed by these guys, because theyre going to becoming joint venture partners soon. Ill talk about that soon. So thats one thing, getting this person to know you. Thats very important. If they know you and they want to promote some of your stuff, that can give you an instant spark in traffic. Thats one thing.
The other thing is, see when I hover over here, this is the username of the person who left the comment on this channel. If I click on that, Ill go over to his or her channel. Itsnot a very impressive channel, but its a link back to this persons channel. If you know anything about search engine optimization, you know how important it is to have links back to your website.
Its the same for YouTube. The more links you can have inside YouTube pointing back to your channel, the better its going to be for your own internal search engine optimization for YouTube. I bet you didnt know that. I only discovered this a few months ago.
So there is a double-edged sword here. Number one, the content creator gets to know you, and the channel owner gets to know you. Number two, it also has a link back to your site. Thats also very powerful because people can go there, but it can also help with search engine optimization for your own YouTube channel. Very powerful. Thats YouTube channel comments every day.
Just find the big players in your market. Search for them with keywords. Find the people with a lot of followers in your market. Start adding comments to their channel and building a relationship with them.
